Is it possible that a team building exercise to build a robot can help with problem solving for
business? Here at Twiga Group we are seeing it can have great results.

Twiga Group Managing Director Jo Smyth said there are benefits of exploring culture and behaviour
using technology to solve real and current problems together.

“Our FUSIONplay is a unique program where teams build a mini bot and then use it to explore a
current team problem. This program is grounded in design thinking, creativity and experimentation.
We use the technology to redefine the future culture of a business.

“We bring people together to build complementary talents and skills which are aligned to a common
purpose and demonstrate high levels of collaboration and innovation. We explore new ways of
working, role clarity within teams and communication.

“FUSIONplay brings people and technology together to build teams, explore new ideas and approach
problem-solving in a different way. The use of technology helps to externalise team behaviour and
surfaces what can often be seen as a difficult conversation,” Ms Smyth said.

The results can uncover issues that might have been missed – and more importantly, find solutions
and solve existing workplace challenges. Feedback has been extremely positive, with some great
results achieved.
